by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner H;~g;nG,
the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of
Cynthia Jones, Assistant County Auditor, be ratified and
confirmed, effective as of September 5th, 1986.

Dear lion,
This letter. is to inform you of my resignation as
Assistant County Auditor, last day being effective on
Friday, September 5, 1986.. I have accepted the position
of Chief Deputy in the County Treasurer's office to
begin on Monday, September 8, 1986. My feelings for you
as a dear friend and wonderful boss will not be altered
by the fact I am going 'next door'. Please try to
understand my reasons fur accepting this position. You
have always been a great 'teacher' for me and I have
always enjoyed working for you. I pray we will continue
to be friends and congenial co-workers, in the future.
