OF $612.00 RE: LEGAL ASSISTANCE FOR J.P.#4 SUIT IN
U.S. DISTRICT COURT CAUSE #SA85CA2027
On this the 24th day of July 1986, came on to be considered
bill submitted by Mike Childers, Attorney at Law (appointed
by Commissioners' Court ORDER N0. 16181), regarding legal
assistance for John P. Hill, Justice of the Peace of Pre-
cinct #4 (U.S. DISTRICT COURT CAUSE #SA85CA2027, styled
"DON NOi9LIN VS. JOHN P. HILL"). Upon motion made by Commis-
sioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins, with Com-
missioners Holland and Higgins and County Judge Morriss voting
"AYE", Commissioner Lich voting "NAY", and Commissioner Guthrie
"ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", motion carried by a majority vote and
Court approved payment of $612.00 to Mike Childers, Attorney at
Law (Account 10-458-401).

On this the 25th day of July 1985, came on to be considered the request of Justice of
the Peace of Precinct Four, for legal representation in a suit filed against him for actions
taken by him while acting in his official capacity, and further representation and fees if a
cross-action suit is deemed necessary, for County to recover expenses.
~' Upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Holland, Court
'~I unanimously approved appointing Mike Childers as Attorney to represent John P. Hill, Justice
of the Peace of Precinct #4, at a cost of $90.00 per hour plus benefits. This order is
