APPROVAL OF REIMBURSEMENT TO GARY E. KERSEY, COUNTY ATTORNEY,
IN AMOUNT OF $420.00
On this the 10th day of February 1986, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holland seconded by Commissioner Guthrie ,
the Court unanimously approved a reimbursement in the amount
of $420.00 to County Attorney Gary E. Kersey.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and
County Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher on the General
Fund in the amount of $420.00 for reimbursement of the
salary of Diane Clarkson, from January 1st thru January 15th,
1985, which had previously been paid by the County Attorney.

our attention thaC our office has not been reimbursed for
salary in the amount of $500.00 paid to lliahe Clarkaoh ou
January I5, 1985. She should have been paid by the County
as of January I, 1985.
Our first voucher for reimbursements of expenses
was submitted in April o[ 1985. ]:u LLe process of taking
over the office of County Attorney and trying to esCabl.ish
a system of filing and bookkeeping, several paid out. expenses
were overlooked, which we have absorbed, but 1 do noC feel
that we should be expected to absorb i.his ealary of $500.00.
After contacting Lhe Auditors office in regard to
this matter, they su};gested ChaC we appeal to you. We would
appreciate any help you can give us in clearing us this iCem.

Dear Sirs:
't'his letter is being written for the purpose of requesting
the consent of the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas
L-o the employment of Diane Clarkson as the secretary for the
Kerr County Attorneys Office. I request that her effective
date of employment be made January 1, 1985 and that' her annual
salary be established at $12,000 per year. I further request that
she serve and be employed as per direction of the County Attorney.
I enclose herewith a proposed Court Order consenting to
her employment, and if this letter and Court Order meet with
your approval I would request that you approve sarte and
that the order be entered into the records of the Commissioners'

CONSENT TO EMPLOY SECRETARY
On this the _14th _day of January, 1985, came on to be
considered by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, the
matter of consenting to the employment of a secretary for the
County Attorney's office, to serve at a rate of compensation to
be set by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, at the
special instance and request of and for a period of time to be
determined by County Attorney Gary E. Kersey; and it appearing
that a need exists to employ a secretary in the office of the
County Attorney, begining January 1, 1985; and it appearing that
the said Gary E. Kersey, County Attorney, has recommended the
employment of Diane Clarkson as secretary for the office of
County Attorney effective January 1, 1985; it is hereby ordered
upon motion of Commissioner Holland _ _ seconded
by Commissioner __Higgins_______ _ _ ____ and unanimously
approved by the Court, that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr
County grant its consent to the employment of Diane Clarkson as
secretary to the office of County Attorney effective January 1,
1985; the said Diane Clarkson to serve at the will of the said
County Attorney. It 1s further ordered that her compensation is
