APPROVAL OF PAYMENTS TO OLMOS EQUIPMENT CO. AND BLACKWELL
& ASSOCIATES FOR AIRPORT EXPENSES AND TO COMMISSION BLACKWELL
& ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE AN AIRCRAFT NOISE REPORT
On this the 23rd day of January 1986, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins,
the Court unanimously approved payments to Olmos Equipment
Co. in the amount of $34,805.06 for construction of runway-
taxiway extension, airport road, etc. and to Blackwell &
Associates in the amount of $7,058.00 for Engineering Services,
and to commission Blackwell & Associates to prepare an Aircraft
Noise Analysis Report for a sum of $8,000.00, in concurrence
with action taken by the City Council on January 14th, 1986.

Dear Mr. Mennella:

Blackwell & Associates, Inc., is pleased to submit this proposal for
providing engineering services for the preparation of an aircraft noise
analysis report for Louis Schreiner Field.
These engineering services include the necessary field investigations;
collection of data pertaining to aircraft activity; development of projected
aircraft activity; determine adjusted aircraft operations; determine the
noise exposure contours; meet with the city, FAA and TAC as required; and
submit a final report.
We propose to provide these services within ninety (90) days for a lump
sum fee of $8,000.00. If these serv""ices are as you understand, upon approval,
please return one signed copy of this letter with your authorization to
proceed.
