On this the 9th day of June 1986, upon motion made
by Commissioner Higgins, seconded by Commissioner Lich,
the Court unanimously approved that amended bids received
for the construction of a Juvenile Detention Center on the
third floor of the Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville,
Texas, be referred to the County Auditor and the Architect
(Dlichael N. Walker) for study and recommendation.

The attached Addendum 2 documents the Savings which we discussed
for the above referenced project. These Savings should be
sufficient to bring the project into the Budget as we understand
It to be.
Please submit your Bid on the enclosed form, either making your
new lump sum as the Base Bid Amount or using your original Base
bid and listing the Proposed Savings under Item 5. This
procedure is being undertaken in this manner per the instructions
of Kerr County Attorney Gary Kersey.
It would be most helpful to have the Bid complete by the
Commissioner's Court meeting at 10:00 a.m. on N,onday, June 9.
This way, the Commissioners will have all the information they
need to make a decision on beginning the Work.
