RELEASE OF CASHIER'S CHECK TO CLARK & STROMAN CONSTRUCTION, INC.
IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,370.00
On this the 5th day of August 1986, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, it
was unanimously approved by the Court that the Cashier's
Check in the amount of $1,370.00, which was received with the
bid proposal submitted by Clark & Stroman Construction, Inc.,
(as per bid specifications), be released this date 8/S/86 to
Walter V. Stroman, as the agreement between Kerr County and
Clark & Stroman Construction, Inc. has been fully executed
and construction of the Juvenile Detention Center will begin
on August 7th, 1986.

ACCEPTANCE OF AMENDED BID OF CLARK & STROMAN CONSTRUCTION, INC.,
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER ON THE THIRD
FLOOR OF THE KERR COUNTX COURTHOUSE, IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,403.00
On this the 7th day of July 1986, upon motion made by Commis-
sioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Higgins, the Court
unanimously approved acceptance of the amended bid of CLARK &
STROMAN CONSTRUCTION, INC., for construction of a Juvenile
Detention Center on the third floor of the Kerr County Court-
house, in the amount of $27,403.00, with the stipulation that
the bid security be received by July 9th, 1986.
It is further ordered by the Court that the amended bid of
SYL Corporation in the amount of $25,000.00 be rejected, due to
failure to comply with bid specifications regarding insurance
coverage.
