ORDER NO. 16873 APPROVAL OF INMATE BOARDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN KERR COUNTY, TEXAS AND THE CITY OF INGRAM, TEXAS On this the 14th day of October 1986, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie seconded by Commissioner Lich the Court unanimously approved an INMATE BOARDING AGREEMENT, between KERR COUNTY and the CITY OF INGRAM, TEXAS, effective as of October 14, 1986, at a charge of $20.00 per man day for inmates that are charged with a Class C misdemeanor offense, and inmates that are charged with an offense other than a Class C misdemeanor, Ingram shall not be charged. It is ordered by the Court that County Judge Morriss be authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Kerr County. STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF KERR INMATE BOARDING AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Ingram, Texas, desires to utilize the detention facilities operated and maintained by Kerr County, Texas; WHEREAS, Kerr County, Texas, is willing to allow the City of Ingram, Texas, to utilize their detention facilities; NOW THEREFORE, be it agreed by the parties hereto that the City of Ingram, Texas, shall. be permitted to house inmates in, and otherwise utilize, the Kerr County detention facilities on the following terms and conditions: 1. That Kerr County will provide a safe and suitable detention facility for inmates brought for boarding thereto by the City of Ingram. 2. For those inmates who have been delivered by the City of Ingram and accepted in the Kerr County detention facility, Ingram stall be charged $20 per person per man day, for so many of said inmates that are charged with a Class C misdemeanor offense. For so many of said inmates that are charged with an offense other than a Class C misdemeanor, Ingram shall not be charged. 3. The County of Kerr will provide such medical services as are generally available in Kerr County, Texas. For those inmates who have been delivered by the City of Ingram and accepted in the Kerr County detention facility, Ingram shall remain liable for the medical services of those charged with a Class C misdemeanor offense. For so many of said inmates that are filed against for an offense other than a Class C misdemeanor, Kerr County assumes the liability for the medical services thereof. 4. The City of Ingram shall actively cooperate with the Kerr County Sheriff's Department in coordinating and otherwise arranging the transportation to other counties for persons charged with an offense in such other counties, where such inmates have been delivered by the City of Ingram for boarding in the Kerr County detention facility.
