County, Texas, after the same are approved by the Texas Commission; and

OFFICE, EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1st, 1988
On this the 15th day of December 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved the request of Linda Uecker, District
Clerk, for employment of DONNA WITT as a part-time employee in the District Clerk's Office,
effective January 1st, 1988, to be paid on an hourly basis at $6.33 per hour, Pay Group 12
Step 2, and that her salary be paid out of the General Fund.
(Donna will replace Frances Johnson, whose resignation was effective November 10th, 1987.)

On this the 15th day of December 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded"
by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners Lich and Baldwin and County Judge Edwards voting "AYE"~
and Commissioners Holland and Ray voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote,
approving to suspend enforcement of Order No. 17577, dated November 13th, 1987, regarding
limiting two-hour parking in the Courthouse yard, effective December 16th, 1987 through
Januarv 3rd, 1988.

NO. 17618 APPROVAL OF EMPLOYMENT OF RUBEN T. RODRIGUEZ IN THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
On this the 15th day of December 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the request of Frank L. Speakmon,
!Superintendent of Maintenance, for employment of RUBEN T. RODRIGUEZ, as a full-time employee
in the Maintenance Department, effective December 21st, 1987, at a salary of $10,039.40 per
annum, $836.61 monthly, $418.31 semi-monthly, payable out of the General Fund.
