day of December 1987, at 10:00 o'clock A. M., in the City of I:errville, Texas, a Regular
Term of Commissioners' Court, with the following officers present:

NO. 17596 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 14th day of December 1987, came on to be considered by the Court the
barious claims and accounts against I:err County and the various Commissioners' Precincts,
which claims and accounts were approved for payment out of General, Jury, Road and Bridge,
County Law Library, Juvenile State Aid, Traffic Safety and 216th District Probation Fund.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously
approved by the Court that said bills be paid, with exception of Invoice No. 1685 and
1686.

On this the 14th day of December 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin,
seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the payment of a $3,000.00
Łee to Nancy J. Schroeder, Attorney Ad Litem (appointed by Presiding Judge Charles Sherrill)
in Cause No. 83-229-B for representing a child in the 198th Judicial District Court. The I,
Kerr County Auditor and Treasurer are authorized to make said payment out of the General
Fund (Account No. 10-436-402); and the County of I:err is to be reimbursed as per judgement ~~
rendered by the District Court. I,

1987, November 13th, 1987, Special meeting on November 20th, 1937 and a Special Meeting on
November 30th, 1987, Volume Q, Pages 494 thru 510, Commissioners' Court Minutes of I:err

On this the 14th day of December 1987, came on to be examined by the Court the various

On this the 14th day of December 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded

~ by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that GERALD W. MENEFEE, Kerr County Road
Enqineer, be authorized to review plats submitted to the City of Ingram, with particular
attention to any drainage problems which might appear as to property requested to be approved
for platting, and that Kerr County will have no liability in connection with such review.

~ N0. 17602 APPROVAL OF FIRST QUARTERLY PAYMENT TO THE KERR CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR
TAX APPRAISAL OFFICE EXPENSES FOR 1988
On this the 14th day of December 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners Holland, Ray, and Lich and County Judge Edwards
I' voting "AYE" and Commissioner Baldwin voting "NAY", a majority vote of the Court approved the
first quarterly payment to the KERR CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT for tax appraisal office
expenses for the year 1988, in the amount of $18,537.00.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to
draw a voucher on the General Fund (10-660-471), payable to the KERR CENTRAL APPRAISAL
DISTRICT, in the above amount.

NO. 17603 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF KERR COUNTY'S 1988 MEMBERSHIP DUES TO THE TEXAS ASSOCIATION
OF COUNTIES
On this the 14th day of December 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded'
by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved that the County Treasurer and County
Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher on the General Fund, payable to the TEXAS ASSOCIATION
OF COUNTIES for Kerr County's membership dues for the year 1988.

NO. 17604 ORDER SETTING COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICIALS ON SALARY BASIS
On the 14th day of December 1987, at a Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court, with
a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation of various
County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1987-1988, as provided for
in Article 3912e, Sections 2 and 6, R.C.S. of Texas. Upon :lotion duly made by Commissioner
Holland, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin and unanimously approved by the Court, it is ordered
that the County Officials and Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a salary basis,
