voting "AYE" and Commissioner Ray "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a majority,,
vote, approving a budget amendment for the Justice of the Peace of Precinct One, creating
Capital Outlay Line Item #10-455-570 and transferring $50.00 from Miscellaneous #10-455-499 to
Capital Outlay.

NO. 17543 APPROVAL OF BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE
On this the 9th day of November 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved a budget amendment for the County
Attorney's Office, by creating line item #10-475-440, for payment of utilities in the amount
of $750.00.

NO. 17544 APPROVAL OF BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
On this the 9th day of November 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved a budget amendment for the Sheriff's
Department to decrease line item #10-560-570 - Capital Outlay in the amount of $2500.00 and
to increase line item No. 10-560-309 - Postage by like amount.

Law Library, Juvenile State Aid and 216th District Probation Funds.

approved by the Court that said bills be paid, with exception of Invoice Nos. 854 and 785.

On this the 9th day of November 1987, upon recommendation of Gerald W. Menefee, Kerr
'I County Road Engineer, motion was made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner
Holland, and unanimously approved by the Court to accept the bid from GOLD PAVING & AGGRE-
GATE, INC. (P.O. Box 842, Fredericksburg, Texas 78624), on FALL BRANCH ESTATES ROAD AND
~', DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, total bid being in amount of $24,538.00.
