by Commissioner Baldwin, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the termination of
employment of BARRY STEWART, DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, be ratified and confirmed,
effective as of October 16th, 1987.

N0. 17535 REQUEST OF DORIS LEE SMITH, TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR FOR MODIFICATION OF EFFECTIVE
DATE OF SALARY INCREASE FOR BOBBIE LEEDY, CHIEF DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR
On this the 22nd day of October 1987, a motion was made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded
'~ by Commissioner Lich, to approve the request of Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector, for
a modification of the effective date of a salary increase for Bobbie Leedy, Chief Deputy Tax
Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, to be effective as of October 1st, 1987, instead of April
1st, 1987, as shown on the Salary Schedule adopted on the 24th day of September 1987
(Order No. 17493).
Commissioners Baldwin and Lich voted "AYE", and Commissioners Holland and Ray voted "NAY",
and County Judge Edwards "ABSTAINED FROM VOTING", said motion failed.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION on October 23rd, 1987 at 11:15
o'clock A. M., with all members present, and the following proceedings were had:
NO. 17536 APPROVAL OF SEMI-ANNUAL PAYMENT TO UPPER GUADALUPE RIVER AUTHORITY FOR
ENVIRONDIENTAL HEALTH SERVICES PER INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT DATED DECEMBER
8, 1980 AND AS AMENDED APRIL 23rd, 1984
On this the 23rd day of October 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved a semi-annual payment to UPPER
GUADALUPE RIVER AUTHORITY for Environmental Health Services per interagency agreement dated
December 8th, 1980 and amended April 23rd, 1984, in the amount of $54,700.00 for one-half of
the approved budget for fiscal year ending September 30th, 1988, less fees collected in the
amount of $22,460.00, leaving a balance owing in the amount of $32,240.00, which is the amount
approved by the Commissioners' Court.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher on the General Fund in the amount of $32,240.00, payable to UPPER GUADALUPE
RIVER AUTHORITY, out of the General Fund.
It is requested an accounting be furnished the Commissioners' Court from the year 1981
~' through September of 1987, which accounting shall include a list of all payments made by
Kerr County and fees received, such to be listed by calendar years from inception of contract
!~ to the 1984 amendment and thereafter by fiscal years.
