COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION on Thursday, October 22nd, 1987
at 10:00 o'clock A. M., with the following members present:

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 17524 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS & ACCOUNTS
On this the 22nd day of October 1987, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which
claims and accounts were approved for payment out of General, Road & Bridge, County Law
Library, Juvenile State Aid, Traffic Safety, Indigent Health Care, and 216th District
Probation Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Ray and unanimously
approved that said bills be paid.

NO. 17525 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF INVOICE NO. 165 and INVOICE NO. 166 TO YOLANDA ROSENBERG
AS INTERPRETER
On this the 22nd day of October 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded.
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved payment of Invoice IVO. 165 in the
amount of $30.00 and Invoice No. 166 in the amount of $90.00 to YOLANDA ROSENBERG, as
Interpreter in County Court at Law.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw vouchers in the above amounts, payable out of the General Fund to YOLANDA t:OSEIQBERG

N0. 17526 MOTION TO ACCEPT MAINTENANCE OF ROADS IN VALLE VERDE SUBDIVISION IN KERB COUNTY
COMMISSIONER'S PRECINCT NO. FOUR
On this the 22nd day of October 1987, a motion was made by Commissioner Baldwin, and
seconded by Commissioner Lich, that the County accept maintenance of Karen Drive and
Elizabeth Drive in Valle Verde Subdivision, with Commissioners Baldwin and Lich voting "AYE"
and Commissioners Holland and Ray and County Judge Edwards voting "NAY", said motion failed.

On this the 22nd day of October 1987, a motion was made by Commissioner Ray and i
seconded by Commissioner Holland, to table Item No. 3 - Consideration of maintenance for Karenl'

October 22nd, 1987.
Commissioners Holland and Ray and County Judge Edwards voted "AYE" and Commissioners

On this the 22nd day of October 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners Holland, Lich and Baldwin and County Judge Edwards
voting "AYE" and Commissioner Ray voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote,

as Alternate Presiding Judge of Election Precinct One, for the November 3rd Election only.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECONVENED AT 1:30 o'clock P. M., with all members present,
at which time a public hearing was held regarding KERR COUNTY PRIVATE SEWAGE FACILITY ORDER
and KERR COUNTY FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT REGULATIONS.
19 members of the public were present at the hearing.
No orders were passed.
Public hearing on Kerr County Private Sewage Facility Order adjourned at 4:05 P.A4.
Public Hearing on Floodplain Management Regulations was held at 4:10 P. M.
No Orders were passed.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECONVENED ON OCTOBER 22nd, 1987 at 4:37 o'clock P. M. in
the Kerr County Courtroom, with all members present, and the following proceedings were had:
N0. 17529 ACCEPTANCE OF ROAD NAMED HUNTERS POINTE IN HUNTERS POINTE SUBDIVISION
On this the 22nd day of October 1987, came on for consideration the matter of acceptance
of a road named Hunters Pointe in Hunters Pointc Subdivision, located in Kerr County Commis-
sinner's Precinct No. Four.
Upon recommendation of Kerr County Road Engineer, Gerald W. Menefee, and in compliance
with the Kerr County Subdivision Rules and Regulations, Section X - Inspections and Accept-
ance (10.02), said road meets the requirements for maintenance.
Dlotion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners
Holland, Ray, Lich and Baldwin voting "AYE" and County Judge Edwards "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING",
said motion carrying by a majority vote, approving that the road named Hunters Pointe be
accepted for maintenance, effective as of this date.

NO. 17530 APPROVAL OF EMPLOYMENT OF GRANT THORNTON TO AUDIT KERR COUNTY RECORDS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30th, 1987
On this the 22nd day of October 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Baldwin, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the firm of GRANT
THORNTON be employed to audit the records of County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County
for the fiscal year beginning October 1st, 1986 and ending September 30th, 1987, and make
recommendations to the Court.

NO. 17531 ORDER TO ADVERTISE FOR FOUR 1988 4-DOOR SEDANS, POLICE PACKAGE, FOR USE BY THE
KERR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
On this the 22nd day of October 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved that the County Judge be authorized
to advertise for the following equipment:
Four 1988 4-Door Sedans, Police Package, for use by the
Kerr County Sheriff's Department.
