NO. 17514 APPROVAL OF EMPLOYMENT OF RICHARD CARPENTER III AS A FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE IN THE
ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT
On this the 14th day of October 1987, a motion was made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, to employ Richard Carpenter III as a full-time employee in the Road
and Bridge Department, as requested by Gerald W. Menefee, Kerr County Road Engineer.
Commissioners Ray and Holland and County Judge Edwards voted "AYE" and Commissioners
Lich and Baldwin voted "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote, approving employment
of this additional full-time employee, effective as of October 1st, 1987, at a salary of
$13,839.00 per annum, $576.63 semi-monthly (Kerr County Pay Group 12, Step 4), payable out of
Road and Bridge Fund. f

by Commissioner Ray, to employ Russell S. Hinson as a full-time employee in the Road and
Bridge Department, as requested by Gerald W. Menefee, Kerr County Road Engineer.

On this the 14th day of October 1987, upon motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded by
Commissioner Ray, with Commissioners Holland and Ray voting "AYE" and Commissioners Lich and
Baldwin and County Judge Edwards voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote
disapproving the transfer of $11,000.00 contract fees to part-time and request of Road
Engineer Gerald W. Menefee for employment of temporary personnel.

N0. 17518 APPROVAL OF TERMINATION OF SUB-LEASE TO AVIATION MUSEUM OF TEXAS BY SOUTHWEST
REGIONAL FLY-IN, INC.
On this the 14th day of October 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved termination of a Sub-Lease to
Aviation Museum of Texas by Southwest Regional Fly-in, Inc., subject to concurrence by the
