N0. 17481 APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT SUBMITTED BY VOELKEL ENGINEERING
On this the 24th day of September 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the PRELIMINARY PLAT ~,
submitted by Voelkel Engineering be approved, subject to the following provisions:
1. Unnamed Preliminary Plat - name requested is similar to one of record.
(Request - Lambs Creek Land Company)
2. No variance on roads in Subdivision.
3. No variance on septic tanks in Subdivision.

NO. 17482 RESOLUTION
On this the 24th day of September 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin,
seconded by Commissioner Ray, the Court unanimously approved to accept a proposal by Poo Ranch
Business Manager, John Givens, of a new 60 foot right-of-way for a (20 foot wide driving
surface gravel road), to be built by and at the expense of Mo Ranch, west of its property
line, which would reduce traffic through the Presbyterian Church Assembly and still provide
access to property owners beyond the ranch land.
Said site has been inspected by Kerr County Road Engineer Gerald W. Menefee and he has
drawn preliminary plans for the new road. ~

Said 60 foot right-of-way is to be deeded to Kerr County at no cost to the County, upon
completion of the road and acceptance by the County Road Engineer.

On this the 24th day of September 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved the REPEAT OF TRACT NOS. 18 & 19 IN

PECAN VALLEY NO. TWO, with no variances, located in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No.

All improvements that are to be made shall comply with the existing Kerr County Sub-
division "RULES AND REGULATIONS" that became effective January 1st, 1984 and amendments to '
the regulations that were approved by the Kerr County Commissioners' Court on April 9th, 1984.E

NO. 17484 MOTION BY COMMISSIONER RAY TO APPROVE EMPLOYMENT OF RUBEN H. HILL, JR., RUSSELL
S. HINSON, AND RICHARD CARPENTER, III, AS FULL TIME EMPLOYEES IN THE ROAD AND
BRIDGE DEPARTMENT
On this the 24th day of September 1987, a motion was made by Commissioner Ray to approve'
the request of Gerald W. Menefee, Kerr County Road Engineer, for employment of the following
as full time employees, effective as of October 1st, 1987:
Ruben J. Hi11, Jr., Equipment Operator, Pay Group 12/4 at $6.75 per hour,
Russell S. Hinson, Equipment Operator, Pay Group 12/1, at $6.12 per hour, '
and
Richard Carpenter, III, Equipment Operator, Pay Group 12/4, at $6.75 per hour.
Motion was seconded by County Judge Edwards, with Commissioner Ray and County Judge
Edwards voting "AYE" and Commissioners Lich and Baldwin voting "NAY", said motion failed.
