$18,169.00, payable out of General Fund.
It is ordered by the Court the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to draw
a voucher in the above amount, payable to NATIONAL SHERIFFS' ASSOCIATION.

On this the 14th day of September 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved that County Judge Edwards be author-
ized to complete the Questionnaire from Chief Appraiser Juanita R. Maples of the Kerr Central
Appraisal District, regarding the election of Board Members for the new term -- 1988-89.

NO. 17457 MOTION TO ACCEPT MAINTENANCE OF KAREN DRIVE AND ELIZABETH DRIVE IN VALLE VERDE
SUBDIVISION
On this the 14th day of September 1987, a motion was made by Commissioner Baldwin, that
Kerr County accept maintenance of Karen Drive and Elizabeth Drive in Valle Verde Subdivision,.;
located in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. Four. ,
Motion was seconded by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners Lich and Baldwin voting ',
"AYE" and Commissioners Holland and Ray and County Judge Edwards voting "NAY", said motion
failed by a majority vote.

NO. 17458 APPROVAL OF REPEAT OF PART OF CYPRESS PARK SECTION ONE
On this the 14th day of September 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Ray, with Commissioners Holland, Ray, Lich and Baldwin voting "AYE" and
County Judge Edwards "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a majority vote,
approving a REPEAT OF PART OF CYPRESS PARK SECTION ONE, with no variances, located in Kerr
County Commissioner's Precinct No. Three.
All improvements that are to be made shall comply with the existing KERR COUNTY SUB-
DIVISION RULES AND REGULATIONS" that became effective January 1st, 1984 and amendments to
the regulations that were approved by the Kerr County Commissioners' Court on April 9th,
1984.

NO. 17459 APPROVAL OF PROPOSED AGREEMENT BETWEEN MOORS SERVICE, INC. AND KERR COUNTY
On this the 14th day of September 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, it was unanimously approved by the Court that County Judge Danny
R. Edwards be authorized to execute a proposed agreement between MOORS SERVICE, INC. and
r KERB COUNTY, effective as of October 1st, 1987, for refuse removal service, at the following

1. One 3 yard Dumpster for the jail, picked up Monday through Saturday, and one 3 yard
Dumpster for the Courthouse, picked up on Pdonday, Wednesday and Friday, both located at the
Kerr County Courthouse, all for a monthly fee of $280.25, billed and payable monthly out of
the General Fund.
2. All Dumpsters at the Hill Country Youth Exhibition Center shall be picked up on -
an - as called basis, at a charge of $12.00 per Dumpster per pickup, to be billed separately
and paid monthly out of the General Fund.

N0. 17460 APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE PERIOD OF SEPTEMBER 13, 1987 through
SEPTEMBER 19, 1987 AS CONS^1ITUTION WEEK
' On this the 14th day of September 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland,
seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved a Resolution designating
the period of September 13, 1987 through September 19, 1987 as Constitution Week.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the period of September 13, 1987 through September 19, 1987 has been designated
as Constitution Week; and
WHEREAS, Constitution Week commemorates the signing of the American Constitution on
September 1787, and gives us the opportunity to recall the high ideals and devotion to liberty
of the men who framed our Constitution, and to review the many blessings enjoyed by our nation;
and
WHEREAS, all of us need to be inspired to rededicate ourselves to our country and to the
support and defense of our Constitution, and to an involvement in responsible Citizenship;
NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the authority vested in me as County Judge, I do hereby
proclaim the period of September 13, 1987 through September 19, 1987 as CONSTITUTION WEEK in
our county, and urge our citizens to renewed dedication to the great imperatives of Citizen-
ship, Duty to God and to our Country.
