It appearing to the Court that proper notices have been posted, and after thorough
examination by the Court and the consideration of the public interest of the community, the
Court is of the opinion that the Proposed Operating Budget for Kerr County, Texas, for the
fiscal year beginning October 1st, 1987 should be approved.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Ray, with
Commissioners Holland, Ray and Lich and County Judge Edwards voting "AYE" and Commissioner
Baldwin voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote, approving the adoption of the
County Budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1st, 1987.

NOTICE OF VOTE ON TAX RATE
The Kerr County Commissioners' Court conducted a public hearing on a proposal to increase
your property taxes by 12.64 per cent on September 8th, 1987.
4.64 percent of the increase will be used to pay for services required by the Texas
Legislature in the Indigent Health Care and Treatment Act.
A public meeting to vote on the tax rate will be held on September 14th, 1987 at 10:00
o'clock A. M. in the County Courtroom of the Kerr County Courthouse in Kerrville, Texas.
