Justice of the Peace Precinct #2 Office BETTY SEVEY, from Senior Clerk, Pay Group 13 Step 3, $14,045.00 per annum, $585.21 semi-monthly, to ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK, Pay Group 15 Step 1, $14,756.00 per annum, $614.83 semi-monthly, to be effective on January 1, 1988. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 17432 ORDER PROPOSING TAX RATE INCREASE FOR KERR COUNTY AND AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON TAX INCREASE FOR FISCAL YEAR 1987-1988 On this the 27th day of August 1987, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the , necessity to increase total tax revenues from properties on the tax roll in Kerr County in 1987 by 12.640 over the effective tax rate as calculated by the Kerr County Tax Assessor- Collector, pursuant to Sec. 26.04 (e) (3) of the State Property Tax Code, which proposed increase will be 12.64°s more than the effective tax rate, with 4.64 of the increase to be used to pay the continuing services required by the Texas Legislature in the Indigent Health are and Treatment Act (which became effective Sept. 1, 1986); and it appearing to the Court that such increase is necessary to meet the essential fiscal requirements for the efficient operation of the Kerr County government for the fiscal year 1987-1988, it is ordered that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County propose to increase the 1987 tax levy of Kerr County by 12.64$ of the calculated effective tax rate for county ad valorem purposes and Łor FM and lateral road purposes; and for Indigent Health Care and Treatment services; and it is further ordered that pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 26.06 of the State Property Tax Code, a public hearing on the proposed increase be held on September 8th, 1987, at 12:00 o'clock noon in the County Courtroom in the Kerr County Courthouse, and that proper notice of such hearing be f ~! published in the Kerrville Mountain Sun on Saturday, August 29th, 1987.
