NO. 17402 RESIGNATION OF TIMOTHY McCLUNG, DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 10th day of August 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
' by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of TIMOTHY
McCLUNG, DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, be ratified and confirmed, effective August
3rd, 1987, and that he be paid for 10 days of vacation due him, as requested by Sheriff
Greeson.

!, NO. 17403 RETURNS OF SPECIAL ELECTION HELD AUGUST 8th, 1987 CANVASSED AND TABULATED
On this the 10th day of August 1987, came on to be considered by the Court the returns to
be canvassed, to determine the results of the Special Election held on August 8th, 1987 -
' Re: "Adoption of a one-half percent County Sales and Use Tax within the County to be used to
I reduce the County property tax rate", and the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns
~~ of the Eighteen Election Precincts and the Absentee Canvassing Board Box, are of the opinion
II that said returns, after having been opened and canvassed, are true and correct and should
be approved.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, the
Court unanimously approved that the returns as canvassed and tabulated in Volume 7, Page 62,
Record of Election Returns of Kerr County, Texas, and as certified thereto by each member of
I the Court, are in all respects approved.

NO. 17404 MOTION BY COMMISSIONER RAY THAT KERR COUNTY PAY 50$ OF COSTS OF REPAIR WITH THE
CITY OF KERRVILLE ON BEAR CREEK CROSSING
On this the 10th day of August 1987, a motion was made by Commissioner Ray and seconded
by Commissioner Holland, that Kerr County pay 50~ of costs of repair with the City of Kerrville
on Bear Creek Crossing.
Commissioners Lich and Baldwin and County Judge Fdwards voted"NAY". Said motion failed
by a majority vote.
