by Commissioner Baldwin, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the resignation of
MARIANNE GROVES, JAILER/DISPATCHER, be ratified and confirmed, effective as of July 17th,
1987, and that she be paid for 48 hours of vacation time on the July 31st, 1987 payroll.

NO. 17357 APPROVAL OF REQUEST OF ROAD ENGINEER FOR EMPLOYMENT OF TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES IN
THE ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT
On this the 13th day of July 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Ray, the Court unanimously approved the request of Gerald W. Menefee, Road
Engineer, for the temporary employment of the following, to be paid on an hourly basis,
effective on date of employment, listed as follows:

On this the 13th day of July 1987, a motion was made by Commissioner Holland to move
Kerr County equipment immediately from the storage and equipment yard in Commissioner's
Precinct No. Three.
Motion failed for lack of a second.

NO. 17359 ORDER RESCINDING ORDER NO. 16283, DATED SEPTEMBER 19th, 1985, RE: PRELIMINARY
PLAT OF RIVER CREST
On this the 13th day of July 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved rescinding ORDER N0. 16283, dated
September 19th, 1985, "APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT OF RIVER CREST", since work on this sub-
division was never completed.

NO. 17360 APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT OF RIVER CREST
On this the 13th day of July 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Ray, the Court unanimously approved the PRELIMINARY PLAT OF RIVER CREST, with
no variances, located in Commissioner's Precinct No. Two.
All improvements that are to be made shall comply with the existing KERB COUNTY SUB-
DIVISION "RULES AND REGULATIONS" that became effective January 1st, 1984 and mandments to
the regulations that were approved by the Kerr County Commissioners' Court on April 9th, 1984:

On this the 13th day of July 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Baldwin, with Commissioners Holland, Ray, Lich and Baldwin voting "AYE" and
County Judge Edwards "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING" said motion carrying by a majority vote, it
was approved that ORDER N0. 17324, dated June 22nd, 1987, RE: SELECTION OF BID OF HENRY
GRIFFIN FOR AGGREGATE TO BE USED AS FLEXIBLE BASE MATERIAL BY ROAD & BRIDGE DEPARTMENT, be
amended by adding the following paragraph:
"Alternate Bid of JERRY WHEATCRAFT to be accepted, provided that the material to be
furnished by primary supplier, Henry Griffin, does not meet the requirements and
specifications of Kerr County Road Administrator, Gerald W. Menefee."

IN THE AMOUNT OF $1864.00
On this the 14th day of July 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved payment to MARTIN JEFFERS for material
and labor on Nichols Fence, in the total amount of $1,864.00, and that the County Treasurer
and County Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher on the Road and Bridge Fund, Acct. No.
15-611-553, in the above amount, as full payment and final release for fence repair.
