On this the 13th day of July 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the resignation of
MARIA C. BASKETTE, DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS, be ratified and
confirmed, effective as of July 16th, 1987.

NO. 17349 APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE YEl3R 1987
On this the 13th day of July 1987, came on to be considered by the Court the appointment''
of the necessary election officials for the ensuing year, for each of the eighteen precincts I,
of Kerr County and the Absentee Box at the Courthouse, as shown on pages 127 through 133,
Volume 2, Record of Election Judges for Kerr County, Texas.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 17350 APPROVAL OF PROPOSED AMBULANCE CONTRACT WITH AMCARE AMBULANCE AND MEDICAL SERVICES'
OF SAN ANTONIO, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS, EFFECTIVE JULY 20th, 1987 at 5:00
P. M.
On this the 13th day of July 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of proposed Ambulance Contract„
subject to certain provisions, with AMCARE AMBULANCE AND MEDICAL SERVICES OF SAN ANTONIO,
if CYNRO, the present City-County EMS does not resolve financial difficulties by July 20th,
1987 at 5:00 P. M., and in concurrence with the City of Kerrville. ~,
Provisions are as follows:
1. Contract is subject to buildling rent not exceeding $3,000.00; if rent
payments are less, the monthly subsidy will be decreased accordingly,
2. Satisfactory inspection of equipment,
3. A monthly subsidy shared by the County and City, not exceeding $6,250.00, and
4. Waiver of $35,000.00 that AMCARE requested in advance payment.

It is further ordered by the Court that County Judge Danny R. Edwards be authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of Kerr County.

Concerning Probation Services, from Robert R. Barton, District Judge of the 216th Judicial
District.

DISTRICT FOR BALANCE OF FISCAL YEAR, ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1987
On this the 13th day of July 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved. the Third Amended Budget for Probation
Services for the 216th Judicial District for the fiscal year ending September 30th, 1987.
