On this the Sth day of June 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the FINAL PLAT OF WHITE WING NORTH
SUBDIVISION, with no variances, located in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. Two, and
that all improvements that are to be made shall comply with the existing KERR COUNTY
SUBDIVISION "RULES AND REGULATIONS' that became effective January 1st, 1984 and amendments
to the regulations that were approved by the Commissioners' Court on April 9th, 1984.

N0. 17300 APPROVAL OF REQUEST OF GERALD W. MENEFEE FOR EMPLOYMENT OF CURTIS McDANIEL AS
HEAVY EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST IN THE KERR COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT
On this the 8th day of June 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved the request of Gerald W. Menefee,
Kerr County Road Engineer, for employment of CURTIS McDANIEL as HEAVY EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST
in the Kerr County Road and Bridge Department, effective as of June 4th, 1987, at a salary
of $14,045.00 per annum, $1170.42 per month, $585.21 semi-monthly, payable out of the
Road and Bridge Fund.

NO. 17301 CONSIDERATION OF LEASE OF AIRPORT LAND FOR AGRICULTURAL USE
On this the 8th day of June 1987, came on to be considered by the Court, a request

received by the Joint City/County Airport Advisory Board to lease approximately 42 acres of
City/County owned land adjacent to the Airport (Williams Property) for grazing of sheep and
goats.
A motion was made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously
approved by the Court, that Kerr County refuses to lease the above mentioned land for any
agricultural purposes.

NO. 17302 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO A. C. JORDAN, INC. FOR SANITARY LANDFILL CLOSURE, PHASE II
On this the 8th day of June 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Ray, the Court unanimously approved payment to A. C. Jordan, Inc. for 90~ of
costs for Sanitary Landfill Closure, Phase II, ($31,275.00 less previous payment of $5,040.00),
amount due $26,7.35.00, subject to concurrence by the City of Kerrville.
(l0o of payment is being withheld until final approval of the Closure" is received from the
Texas Department of Health, Solid Waste Division.)

N0. 17303 APPROVAL OF PAYMENTS TO KERRVILLE AVIATION INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $50.00 PER MONTH
FOR OPERATION COSTS OF CERTIFIED WEATHER REPORTING FACILITY AT LOUIS SCHREINER
FIELD
On this the 8th day of June 1987, upon motion made by Commisskoner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, with Commissioners Holland, Ray, Lich and Baldwin voting "AYE" and
County Judge Edwards "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a majority vote,
approving a monthly payment to KERRVILLE AVIATION INC. in the amount of $50.00 (Kerr County's
portion being $25.00 per month) for operation costs of certified weather reporting facility
on Louis Schreiner Field, subject to concurrence by the City of Kerrville.
