It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher on the General Fund, Acct. #10-560-485, in the above amount, payable to the BEXAR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT TRAINING ACADEMY. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 17255 APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING DR. LEONARD HOLLOWAY AS A CANDIDATE FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE PRIVATE INDUSTRY COUNCIL On this the 11th day of May 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved a resolution recommending Dr. Leonard Holloway as a candidate for membership in the Private Industry Council. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS: The Private Industry Council, an arm of the ALAMO SERVICE DELIVERY AREA which determines policy and program design and makes decisions on the Annual Funding for the Job Training Partnership Act, and WHEREAS: There are two places on the Council due for selection and appointment by the Area Judges Committee of the Alamo Area Council of Governments, and WHEREAS: Dr. Leonard Holloway, President of Marcom, Inc., a private consulting firm headquartered in Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, and WHEREAS: Dr. Leonard Holloway, a former College President is extremely well qualified to perform all the functions required of a member of the Council, now THEREFORE: The Kerr County Commissioners' Court endorses Dr. Leonard Holloway as a candidate for membership on the Private Industry Council and urges favorable consideration by the Area Judges Committee toward his appointment.
