by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners Holland, Lich and Baldwin voting "AYE" and Commis-
sioner Ray and County Judge Edwards "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a
majority vote, approving the reclassification of two deputies in the County Clerk's Office
from Senior Clerks, non-exempt status, to Administrative Clerks, exempt status, effective as
of April 16th, 1987, listed as follows:
LOIS HUDSON, DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK - from Senior Clerk, Pay Group 13 Step 4,$14,396.00
per annum, $599.83 semi-monthly, to Administrative Clerk, Pay Group 15
Step 1, $14,756.00 per annum, $614.83 semi-monthly;
and
RUBY L. WHITLOCK, DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK - from Senior Clerk, Pay Group 13 Step 3,
$14,045.00 per annum, $585.21 semi-monthly, to Administrative Clerk,
Pay Group 15 Step 1, $14,756.00 per annum, $614.83 semi-monthly.

On this the 20th day of April 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved the purchase of a desk in the amount of
$125.00 for the Commissioners' Office.

On this the 20th day of April 1987, upon motion Wade by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, with Commissioners Holland and Ray and County Judge Edwards voting "AYE",
Commissioner Baldwin voting "NAY" and Commissioner Lich "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion
carrying by a majority vote, approving the hiring of GERALD W. MENEFEE as Kerr County Road
Engineer, effective as of April 27th, 1987, at a salary of $31,000.00 per annum, plus the
usual County benefits, and that Kerr County will furnish a vehicle and gas for his use.
(Salary to be paid out of the Road and Bridge Fund.)

NO. 17240 ORDER AMENDING ORDER N0. 17233 - RE: RECLASSIFICATION OF RICHARD L. BOYAN,
EQUIPMENT OPERATOR, TO ASSISTANT MECHANIC
On this the 20th day of April 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by

Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved to amend Order No. 17233, dated April
13th, 1987 - Re: Reclassification of Richard L. Boyan, Equipment Operator, to Assistant
Mechanic, by deleting the following portion of the Order "to Assistant Mechanic, in the Road
and Bridge Department, and that his salary be changed from $12,724.00 per annum, $530.17
semi-monthly, to $14,756.00 per annum, $614.83 semi-monthly, effective as of April 16th, 1987.',
(Pay Group 15 Step 1)", and adding the following "to Mechanic, in the Road and Bridge Depart-
ment, and that his salary be changed from $12,724.00 per annum, $530.17 semi-monthly to
$15,503.00 per annum, $645.96 semi-monthly, effective as of April 16th, 1987. (Pay Group 16
Step 1)".

NO. 17241 COUNTY ATTORNEY REQUESTED TO INVESTIGATE POSSIBLE VIOLATION OF SUBDIVISION RULES
AND REGULATIONS IN WEST CREEK HILLS SECTION ONE
!' On this the 20th day of April 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
~ Commissioner Holland, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the County Attorney be
requested to investigate a possible violation of the Kerr County Subdivision Rules and Regula-
tions in West Creek Hills Section One, Lots 10, 12, 13 and 14, and to take such action as he
deems necessary and proper under the law.

NO. 17242 MOTION TO APPROVE MEMBERS TO THE CHILD WELFARE BOARD, AS PREVIOUSLY RECOMPAENDED BY
THE CHILD WELFARE BOARD TASK FORCE
On this the 20th day of April 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded
j by Commissioner Ray, with Commissioners Ray and Baldwin and County Judge Edwards voting "AYE",
Commissioner Holland "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", and Commissioner Lich voting "NAY", said
motion carrying by a majority vote, approving the eleven members to the Child Welfare Board,
as previously recommended by the Child Welfare Board Task Force.
