On this the 8th day of April 1987, came on to be considered by the Court the returns

School District No. 12, held on April 4th, 1987.
Wherefore, the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the above mentioned II
District, is of the opinion that said returns, after having been canvassed and tabulated in '
Volume 7, Page 61, Record of Election Returns, and as certified by each member of the Commis-!
sinners' Court, and upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner Ray,
the Court unanimously approved said returns.

COMMISSIONERS'COURT RECESSED APRIL 8th, 1987 at 12:00 Noon until 2:30 o'clock P.M.,
April 8th, 1987, with all members of the Court present, and the Court having duly opened,
the following proceedings were had:
NO. 17215 APPROVAL OF HIRING A SECRETARY FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, A SECRETARY
TO THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT AND AN INCREASE IN THE TRAVEL ALLOWANCE FOR THE
CONSTABLE OF JUSTICE OF PRECINCT ONE
On this the 8th day of April 1987, came on to be considered by the Court, the matter of

hiring a Secretary for the Department of Public Safety, a Secretary to the Commissioners'
Court and an increase in the travel allowance for the Constable of Justice Precinct One.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unani-
mously approved the hiring of a Secretary to the Department of Public Safety, at a salary not'
to exceed $6,000.00 for the balance of the fiscal year, a Secretary to the Commissioners'
Court, at a salary not to exceed $7,500.00 for the balance of the fiscal year, and that the
travel allowance of Don McClure, Constable of Justice Precinct No. Ong be increased by
$600.00 ($100.00 per month), effective as of April 1st, 1987, for the balance of the fiscal
year.
Salaries and benefits to be paid out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.

A motion was made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously
approved by the Court that the Commissioners' Court meeting be adjourned.

10th, 1987 at 10:00 o'clock A. M., with all members of the Court present, at which time
the County Judge called for an executive session - Re: Personnel - Interviews for Road
Engineer.
No orders were passed at this meeting.
