COUNTY OF KERR X COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION ON JANUARY
22nd, 1987 at 9:45 o'clock A. P2., with all members of the Court present, and the Court having
duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
A public hearing was held at 9:45 o'clock A. M., in the County Courtroom of the Kerr County
Ii Courthouse to consider a proposed salary increase for the Justice of the Peace of Precinct
One, as per notice published in the Official Newspaper of Kerr County, Texas.
11 members of the public appeared for the meeting.
Motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously approved
by the Court that said hearing be adjourned.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION on January 22nd, 1987, at 10:11 o'clock
A. M., the conclusion of the Public Hearing, with all members of the Court present, and the
following proceedings were had:
(~'N0.17056 APPROVAL OF PROPOSED SALARY INCREASE OF THE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE OF PRECINCT NO. ONE
i On this the 22nd day of January 1987, came under advisement the proposed salary increase',
~, for the Justice of the Peace of Precinct No. One, pursuant to applicable laws of the State I

of Texas, and that said increase be effective as of January 1st, 1987, and if approved, to

implement same at the Special January Term, namely, January 22nd, 1987. !',
Motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved,
by the Court that the salary of the Justice of the Peace of Precinct One, be increased from 4
the present salary of $11,790.00 per annum to the proposed salary of $15,000.00, effective
as of January 1st, 1987. j

NO. 17057 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 22nd day of January 1987, came on to be considered by the Court, the various,
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which
claims and accounts were approved for payment out of the General, Jury, Road & Bridge, Kerr
County Public Library, Traffic Safety, Indigent Health Care and 216th District Probation
Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously

approved by the Court that said bills be paid.

N0. 17058 ORDER SETTING COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICIALS ON SALARY BASIS
On the 22nd day of January, 1987, at a Special Term of the Commissioners' Court, with
a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation of various,]
~i, County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1986-1987, as provided in '~
Article 3912e, Sections 2 and 6, R.C.S. of Texas. Upon motion duly made by Commissioner
Ray, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously approved by the Court, it is ordered
I~
that the County Officials and Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a salary basis,
as provided by law, for the fiscal year 1986-1987.
It is further ordered by the Court that the Clerk of the Court prepare a certified ,I
copy of this order and send same to the Comptroller of Public Accounts in Austin, Texas.
