REGARDING OPENING AND STAFFING OF A COUNTY JUVENILE DETENTION FACILITY ~'
On this the 12th day of January 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved payment to RAY ASSOCIATES, INC. in the
amount of $993.00, for professional services rendered to Kerr County for preparation of
letter report on establishment of a juvenile detention center and staffing of said facility.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher on the General Fund, payable to RAY ASSOCIATES, INC. in the above amount
for said services.

I Kerr County Juvenile Detention Center, on the third floor of the Kerr County Courthouse, list-

Attn to close out, correction items lists, Fire Marshall inspections, paint
selection, surface preparation/priming of metal surfaces pursuant to painting,
etc. during Dec. 1986 in the amount of $560.00,
and
For reimbursable telephone expenses (26.08) and printing costs $7.35 (Total $33.43.)

ARCHITECT, FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RENDERED, FOR ALTERATIONS AND
RENOVATIONS FOR THE KERR COUNTY JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER
On this the 12th day of January 1987, a motion was made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, with Commissioners Ray, Holland and Baldwin voting "AYE" and Commis-
sinner Lich voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote, to approve amending Order
I'' No. 17014, regarding partial payment to Michael Neal Walker, Architect, for professional
services rendered for alteraitons and renovations for the Juvenile Detention Center, on the
third floor of the Kerr County Courthouse, by deleting the following:
"Attn to close out, correction items lists, Fire Marshall Inspections,
paint selection, surface preparation/priming of metal surfaces pursuant
to painting, etc. during Dec. 1986 in the amount of $560.00", and to add
the followincx:
I "For professional engineering services during the design, including
review of shop drawings, site visits, discussions with contractors
and suppliers, and evaluation of construction progress (August thru
Dec. 1986) in the amount of --------------------- $495.00"
Reimbursable expenses for telephone and printing as shown in
Order No. 17014 in the total amount of $33.43 is approved $ 33.43
Total to be paid $528.43
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher on the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund in the above amount, payable to MICHAEL
NEAL WALKER, ARCHITECT.
