BALDWIN Commissioner Precinct 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: NO. 17006 APPROVA?~ OF PAYMENT TO THE CITY OF KERRVILLE FOR NOVEMBER 1986 LIBRARY BILL AND TO A & J SAFE & LOCK SHOP FOR KERR COUNTY ACCOUNTS OWING FOR 1986 On this the 12th day of January 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved payments to the City of Kerrville and A & J SAFE fi LOCK SHOP as listed below: CITY OF KERRVILLE -- Library Operating for the month of November 1986, in the amount of $11,593.40, Code 19-650-491 - Public Library Fund and A & J SAFE & LOCK SHOP -- in the amount of $56.17, out ~f General fund, for the following'...,, Kerr County Accounts: County Clerk - 10-403-310 $13.54 County Court-at-Law - 10-427-310 3.65 Courthouse - 10-510-350 25.10 Jail - 10-512-330 4.36 Sheriff - 10-560-330 9.52 It is further ordered that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to draw vouchers on funds listed above. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 17007 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS On this the 12th day of January 1987, came on to be considered by the Court, the various . claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which claims. and accounts were approved for payment out of the General, Road and Bridge, Jury, Traffic Safety, County Law Library, Juvenile Services and 216th District Probation Funds. Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously approv- ed by the Court that said bills be paid. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 17008 ORDER AMENDING ORDER NO. 16983, DATED DECEMBER 18th, 1986 RE: AMENDING SHERIFF'S BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986-1987 On this the 12th day of January 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved that Order No. 16983, dated December 18thp 1986 - Re: Approval of Amending Sheriff's Budget for the Fiscal Year 1986-1987, be amended by adding the following "and decreasing capital outlay by a like amount, $8,556.00." o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 17009 DIINUTES READ AND APPROVED On this the 12th day of January 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Minutes of Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, of the Regular Meeting on December 8th, 1986 and Special Meeting on December 18th, 1986, Volume Q, Pages 321 thru 333. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 17010 MINUTES READ AND APPROVED ..~ On this the 12th day of January 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by J~~ Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the Minutes of Commissioners' Court of ~~, the Special Meeting on January 1st, 1987 and of the Special Meeting on January 5th, 1987, Volume Q, Pages 334 thru 337. (i (Road tour planned for January 8th, 1987 was cancelled - See page 337, Volume Q, noted by Commissioner Ray as correction.) o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 17011 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO BE MADE TO REICHENAU BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR LANDFILL EXCAVATION On this the 12th day of January 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that payment be made to REICHENAU BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION, INC., for landfill excavation, as requested by the City of Kerrville, and in compliance with Order No. 16893, dated October 14th, 1986. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 17012 ORDER REQUESTING CHAS. SCHREINER BANK, TRUSTEE OF THE CHARLES SCHREINER ROAD FUND, t~ TO MAKE EXPENDITURE OF ACCRUED EARNINGS FOR THE PURPOSE OF COMPLETING RIGHT OF WAY U'" REQUIREMENTS FOR STATE LOOP 534, SECTION III, SOUTH OF THE CITY OF KERRVILLE On this the 12th day of January 1987, came on to be heard and considered by the Court, acting in its capacity as Advisory Trustees of the Charles Schreiner Road Fund, pursuant to judgment entered in Cause No. 6.127 on the docket of the 216th District Court of Kerr County, Texas, the matter of advising the Chas. Schreiner Bank of Kerrville, Texas, Trustee of the Charles Schreiner Road Fund, as to the purposes for which certain accrued earnings of said Trust Fund might be expended in furtherance of the purposes for which said trust is created. And it appearing to the Court that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County is committed to complete right of way requirements for the construction of the extension of that portion of State Loop 534 between Highway 16 South of Kerrville along FM Road 689 to the Kerrville State Park; And it further appearing to the Court that all of the funds required for such purpose cannot be provided from the current revenues of Kerr County and that the construction of the extension of Section III of State Loop 534 is essential to provide adequate access to, from and around the City of Kerrville for the areas which this road would serve; and that it would further serve to expedite the flow of a large volume of vehicular traffic, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, acting in its capacity as Advisory Trustee of the Charles Schreiner Road Fund, hereby recommends that the Chas. Schreiner Bank oŁ Kerrville, Texas, Trustee of the said Charles Schreiner Road Fund, expend those funds now under its control which constitute the earnings of the said trust fund for the year 1986 for the purpose of aiding the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County in the comple- tion of right of way requirements for the construction of the extension of the portion of '! State Loop 534 as aforesaid. ~~~ And it is further recommended that the said Chas. Schreiner Bank make payment of such 91 accrued funds to the Kerr County Treasurer for deposit in the Loop 534 Right of Way Fund within the Kerr County Treasury Account, at such time as funds become available for disburse- ment. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
