ORDER NO. 17090 OPENING OF BIDS FOR A READER-PRINTER FOR THE DISTRICT CLERK'S OFFICE TABLED UNTIL FEBRUARY 19th, 1987 On this the 9th day of February 1987, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray seconded by Commissioner Holland , it was unanimously approved by the Court that the opening of bids for a Reader-Printer for the District Clerk's Office be tabled until February 19th, 1987 at 10:00 o'clock A. M. Sealed bids for the Reader-Printer will be accepted until 5:00 o'clock P. M., Friday, February 13th, 1987, in the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Kerrville, Texas. Ab1ENDED BID SPECIFICATIONS READER-PRINTER, DISTRICT CLERK, KERR COUNTY, TEXAS 1) Unit must utilize plain bond paper, 16 lb to 22 lb weight at a minimum of 8 i x 11 . 2) Unit must hold a minimum of S00 sheets of 20 lb. bond stock in a conveniently loading paper supply compartment. 3) Unit must utilize a dry imaging process. 4) Unit must be capable of making from 1-99 selectable through reader/ printer keyboard of a single image, or batches, and have a 99 sheet exit tray capacity. 5) Prints must be delivered to the operator in the from of the unit, right reading for operator verification. 6) Unit must have an approximate 10 second first print rated speed and capable of multiple prints at a rate of approximately 10 prints per minute, 7) Unit must have auto and manual exposure control. 8) Unit shall automatically load 16D'IM microfilm cartridges. 9) Unit shall have a factory installed keyboard blip retrieval system capable of automatically retrieving and locating images on microfilm utilizing single, dual or triple level blipping configurations in both the A ~ B film track. 10) Unit will have a I5' per second average transport speed in both forward and reverse. 11) Unit will have a keyboard controlled image positioning system for cen- tering image on the screen for both viewing and printing. This image position, once set, must be stored in memory for further use. 12) Unit will have multiple lenses, ranging from 14-47X blow back ratio. 13) Unit is to have optional copabilities of being place online to a computer. 14) Unit must have a toner-recovery capability.
