RESOLUTION
ORDER NO. 17371
[PHEREAS, Section 5.08 of Article 4477-9a of the Vernon's
Texas Statutes authorizes Counties to take enforcement
action against auto salvage or junkyards, and
4dHEREAS, at least one auto salvage or junk yard is active
in Kerr County, and
WfiEREAS, its continued activity and exposure to the sur-
rounding neighborhood has detrimental effect, and
WHEREAS, the Statute provides for abatement of the existing
condition.
The Commissioners' Court of I:err County hereby instructs
the County Attorney, Gary E. Kersey, to take the necessary
action to accomplish the abatement allowed by the Statute,
i.e., to take required corrective measures involving County
right of way within 30 days and take required corrective
measures involving private property within 90 days.
Motion by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner
Baldwin and unanimously approved by the ~"purt.
