APPROVAL OF HIRING A SECRETARY FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
SAFETY, A SECRETARY TO THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT AND AN INCREASE
IN THE TRAVEL ALLOWANCE FOR THE CONSTABLE OF JUSTICE PRECINCT
ONE
On this the 8th day of April 1987, came on to be considered
by the Court, the matter of hiring a Secretary for the
Department of Public Safety, a Secretary to the Commissioners'
Court and an increase in the travel allowance for the Constable
of Justice Precinct One.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner
Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved the hiring of a
Secretary to the Department of Public Safety, at a salary not
to exceed $6,000.00 for the balance of the fiscal year, a
Secretary to the Commissioners' Court, at a salary not to
exceed $7,500.00 for the balance of the fiscal year, and that
the travel allowance of Don McClure, Constable of Justice
Precinct No. One be increased by $600.00 ($100.00 per month),
effective as of April 1st, 1987, for the balance of the
fiscal year.
Salaries and benefits to be paid out of Revenue Sharing Trust
Fund.
