ORDER NO. 17427
APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO SYLVESTER ORTEGA FOR DAMAGE TO
TREES ON PRIVATE PROPERTY
On this the 24th day of August 1987, came on to be considered
the claim of Sylvester Ortega regarding the loss of eleven
trees on his property during County maintenance of RED BIRD
LOOP (located off of Stoneleigh Road, Commissioner's Precinct Two).
Upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner
Holland, with Commissioners Holland, Ray, and Baldwin voting "AYE",
and Commissioner Lich voting "NAY", the Court approved by a major-
ity vote that Sylvester Ortega be compensated $750.00 for damage
to trees.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County
Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher on the Road and Bridge Fund,
payable to SYLVESTER ORTEGA, 5422 San Fernando St., San Antonio,
Texas 78237, in the amount of $750.00, in settlement of his claim.
