COUNTY JUDGE DANNY R. EDWARDS AUTHORIZED TO WRITE LETTER TO
TOM BRUNDAGE TO REMOVE OBSTRUCTIONS IN KERR COUNTY RIGHT OF
WAY ON OLD CYPRESS CREEK ROAD
On this the 9th day of February 1987, upon motion made by
Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Lich, it was
unanimously approved by the Court that County Judge Danny
R. Edwards be authorized to write a letter to Tom Brundage,
requesting him to remove the obstructions in the Kerr County
right of way on the old Cypress Creek Road within one week
from date of receipt of letter.

Dlr. Lich:
SPe are fenced out to about 32 feet from whore the steel post was put in.
There is a 12 to 14 feet drop-off to put traffic around while road is
under repair. Concern about desire to move things; our concern about
parking there; no particular design to change the road or anything.
J I have reviewed facts to see if there was anything specific--nothing;
Deed does go to Cypress Creek for 1'•4r. Brundidge.
L Infringement on the County right of way; you might understand the
problem we had with the other entrance .--would not relinquish any of
tip excess right of way. i7hen we toured the roads the rien were working
and we were not aware that they were going to try tQ infr},nge on County
right of way; and they went way beyond. The issue is relinquishment,
talking in terms of reasonable use, since it is not the useage of a
specific prescribed road.
Mr. Jackson:
Hopefully this will allow these folks some relief to fence off some
area for animals.-- It is also an ideal spot and can't get relief
from pa~~ple parking there--afraid to go down road because of people
that gather there,
D4r. Lich:
There have been many owners. It is a beautiful area, and people
enjoy the drive and seeing the scenery, and you can't fence this
and keep the people out. There will be some who are undesirable,
but we have to allow parking of vehicles in line with letting
others enjoy the area.
