ORDER NO. 17352 APPROVAL OF ITEMS 2 AND 3 OF JOINT AIRPORT BOARD RECOMMENDATIONS MADE JUNE 24, 1987 FOR REPAIRS TO BE MADE AT AIRPORT On this the 13th day of July 1987, came on to be considered by the Court three recommendations made by the Joint Airport Board at the June 24, 1987, meet- ing, for repairs to be made at the Louis Schreiner Field (Airport). Upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved Items 2 and 3 as listed below: 2. Emergency repair of the intersection of Runway 02/20 and Taxiway 12/30 3. Consideration in the 1988 CIP of restructure of Runway 02/20 (estimated cost $630,000) 2. Emergency repair of the intersection of Runway 02/20 and Taxiway 12/30 3. Fog sealing of center seventy-five feet of Runway 02/20 as soon as possible I have requested the City Engineer to provide cost estimates for items 2 and 3. City Engineer and I have previously discussed negotiating with the "Lois Street contractor" to do Item 2 while he had his equipment and personnel in place in Kerrville. It is expected that the negotiated price for Item 2 will be less than $5,000, and funds ($12,500) are available in 47-99-00-8513, which were budgeted in-kind contribution for Runway 02/20 repairs.
