On this the 19th day of I'ebruary 19II7, upon motion made
by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Ray, the
Court unanimously approved that the County Treasurer and
County Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher on the
General Fund (Code 10-427-206) payable to the TEXAS LAi'~7YERS'
INSURANCE EXCHANGE (TLIE) in the amount of $1,175.00 fcr
liability insurance for the County Court at Law Judge.
It is further ordered by the Court that the 19G6-19II7 Budget
for the County Court at Law be amended by creating a new
Line Item, NO. 10-427-206, for the above amount.

(a) TLIE is your State Bar sponsored insurance company for
judicial liability insurance, and operates without a profit motive. The
Association is controlled by a Board of Directors elected by and from the
policyholder members.
(b) TLIE provides a comprehensive claims made policy for its members which
offers full prior acts coverage for those claims which, at the inception
date of your initial TLIE policy, you were not aware might arise, subject
to the terms and provisions of the policy. Of course, if your are aware of
any circumstance, act, error or omission which might result in a future
claim (even one which you may believe is frivolous or unjustified), it is
absolutely necessary that you have reported it to your current carrier and
verified that your coverage is protected.
