APPROVAL OF EMPLOYMENT OF MARK TAYLOR EDWARDS AS A JAILER-
DISPATCHER
On this the 13th day of April 1987, upon motion made by
Commissioner Holland seconded by Commissioner Ray ,
the Court unanimously approved the request of Clifton A.
Greeson, Sheriff, for employment of MARK TAYLOR EDWARDS
as a Jailer-Dispatcher, effective as of April 1st, 1987,
at a salary of $13,368.00 per annum, $1,114.00 per month,
$557.00 semi-monthly, payable out of the General Fund.
(Pay Group 13 Step 1 - Mr. Edwards is not a certified

I have as o.f this date re-employeed Mark Taylor Edwards
as a Jailer/Dispatcher. P^r. Edwards who is uncertified
worked for the Kerr County Sheriff's Department 3/31/$6
until he started full time at Schreiner College 9/15/$6.
To comply with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement
Officer Standards and Education rules I intend to put
P4ark on dispatching duties from April 16th to May 1$th
at which time he will go to the Bexar County Sheriff's Academy
in San Antonio for 5days (40) hours to receive his cer-
tification He will then return to both dispatching and
jailing duties.
This will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of
Terry Hall.
Mark Taylor F,dwards beginning salary will be:Pay Group 13-Step 1,
X13,36$.00 annual, $1,114.00 per month,$557.00 semi-monthly.
