PAYMENT TO RAY ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RENDERED
TO KERR COUNTY, REGARDING OPENING AND STAFFING OF A COUNTY JUVENILE
DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 12th day of January 1987, upon motion made by Commis-
sioner Holland , seconded by Commissioner Lich , the Court
unanimously approved payment to RAY ASSOCIATES, INC. in the amount
of $993.00, for professional services rendered to Kerr County for
preparation of letter report on establishment of a juvenile detention
center and staffing of said facility.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County
Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher on the General Fund,
payable to RAY ASSOCIATES, INC. in the above amount for said services.

Preparation'of letter report on establishment of juvenile
detention center and related personnel management mate-
_ r~als:{ (1) job descriptions for a Juvenile Detention Child
I Care Worker and Juvenile Detention Superintendent; (2) sal-
I aiy survey information from 10 counties surveyed for these
positions; (3) a list of persons contacted at 10 county
juvenile detention facilities; (4) juvenile population data
for surrounding counties; and (5) replacement pages for the
county~s classification and pay notebook reflecting the
addition of the two new positions.
(Kgtherine Bennett Ray, 30 hours @ $70 per hour =
$2;100; billed at not to exceed a maximum of $993.)
Reimbursement of Expenses
Long distance telephone calls related to this project will
be billed upon consultants' receipt of statement from long
distance service company.
