NO. 18017 MOTION BY COMMISSIONER HOLLAND TO STRONGLY URGE THE COUNTY CLERK
TO PLACE VOTING MACHINES IN ELECTION PRECINCTS 1, 6, 15 and 16
On this the 21st day of July 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved the motion by Commissioner Holland,
to strongly urge the County Clerk to place four voting machines, one to be placed in each
of the following precincts:
Election Precinct No. 1,
Election Precinct No. 6,
Election Precinct No. 15,
and
Election Precinct No. 16

N0. 18018 MOTION BY COMMISSIONER HOLLAND TO ESTABLISH THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CLERKS
TO BE HIRED IN ANY ELECTION PRECINCT
On this the 21st day of July 1988, a motion was made by Commissioner Holland to

', recommend the maximum number of election clerks to be hired in any of the Election Precincts,
as per schedule presented to the Court by Mr. Holland.
Motion failed for lack of a second.

NO. 18019 APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATE PRESIDING JUDGE OF ELECTION PRECINCT 10
On this the 21st day of July 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved appointment of ROSIABETH STEPHEN
CURCURUTO as Alternate Presiding Judge of Election Precinct No. 10.

NO. 18020 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF COSTS FOR SEMINAR TO BE PRESENTED BY DR. B. L. CARLILE
On this the 21st day of July 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved payment of costs to DR. B. L. CARLILE
for professional services at $50.00 per hour, travel, meals and lodging, for seminar to be
presented July 26th, 1988.

N0. 18021 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
' On this the 21st day of July 1988, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which
', claims and accounts were approved for payment out of General, Jury, Road & Bridge, County
~ Law Library, Revenue Sharing Trust, Juvenile State Aid, Indigent Health Care, Permanent
Improvement and 216th District Probation Funds, with exception of Invoice No. 7727.
D4otion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Ray, with Commissioners
Holland, Ray and Lich and County Judge Edwards voting "AYE" and Commissioner Baldwin "ABSTAIN-
ING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a majority vote, that said bills be paid, with
exception of Inv. No. 7727.
