Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved a bid award to H&H MATERIALS, INC. for
Runway Rehabilitation Project 88-02/20-01, to remove 1.5 inches of old asphalt by milling
I! and replace same with new Central Plant hot mix asphalt (Center Section 60' x 3940') at
Airport, subject to concurrence by the City of Kerrville, in the amount of $101,893.45,
Account Number #47-99-00-8507.

NO. 17944 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO HILL COUNTRY TELEPHONE COOPERATIVE, INC. IN THE AMOUNT
OF $4,547.00 FOR RELOCATION COSTS ON INDIAN CREEK/BEAR CREEK CONNECTION ROAD
On this the 13th day of June 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, with Commissioners Holland, Lich and Baldwin and County Judge
Edwards voting "AYE" and Commissioner Ray "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by
a majority vote, approving payment to HILL COUNTRY TELEPHONE COOPERATIVE, INC. in the amount

of $4,547.00 for costs to relocate cable on Indian Creek/Bear Creek Connection Road.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
to draw a voucher on the Road and Bridge Fund #15-611-557, in the above amount, payable to

by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved a change order in the amount of
$200.00 for the installation of a drainage pipe on Indian Creek/Bear Creek Connection Road.

NO. 17946 MOTION TO APPROVE A CHANGE ORDER IN THE ADIOUNT OF $2,000.00 TO TREAT SURFACE OF
BASE MATERIAL WITH EMULSION ON INDIAN CREEK/BEAR CREEK CONNECTION ROAD
On this the 13th day of June 1988, a motion was made by Commissioner Ray and seconded
~' by Commissioner Holland, to approve a Change Order in the amount of $2,000.00 to treat
surface of base material with emulsion on Indian Creek/Bear Creek Connection Road.
Commissioners Lich and Baldwin and County Judge Edwards voted "NAY". Said motion failed .^

AYE" and Commissioners Lich and Baldwin voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority
'' vote, approving to set aside an amount of $14,000.00 for a combination program for six
months and employ a certified peace officer to serve as a Drug Detention Dog Handler and
Litter Officer, under the supervision of the Constable, of Justice Precinct One.
I Should the Drug Detention Dog not be certified, this program will be reconsidered.
