On this the 13th day of June 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by

Meeting be set for June 27th, 1988 at 10:00 o'clock A. T1. in the County Courtroom of the Kerr
County Courthouse.

On this the 13th day of June 1988, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which claims i
and accounts were approved for payment out of General, Jury, Road and Bridge, County Law ~
Library, Revenue Sharing, Flood Control Maintenance, Juvenile State Aid, Traffic Safety and
216th District Probation Funds.
Plotion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin and unanimously approved
by the Court that said bills be paid.

NO. 17940 RESIGNATION OF WANDA SUE ADAMS, JAILER/DISPATCHER, EFFECTIVE MAY 31st, 1988
On this the 13th day of June 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Baldwin, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the resignation of WANDA
SUE ADAMS, JAILER/DISPATCHER, be ratified and confirmed, effective biay 31st, 1988 and that
she be paid for eight days of vacation time, to be included on the May 31st, 1988 paycheck.

On this the 13th day of June 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded ~
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the employment of MARETTA (RETTA)
ROBERTSON as a Jailer-Dispatcher, effective as of May 27th, 1988, at a salary of $13,502.00
per annum, $562.58 semi-monthly, Pay Group 13, Step 1, payable out of the General Fund.

N0. 17942 APPROVAL OF BID AWARD TO SHIELDS RADIO COMMUNICATIONS FOR A TRANSMITTER/RECEIVER
REPEATER STATION TO BE USED BY PRESENT/FUTURE ADIBULANCE CONTRACTORS
On this the 13th day of June 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded
by Commissioner Ray, with Commissioners Ray, Lich and Baldwin voting "AYE" and County Judge
Edwards "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a majority vote, approving a bid
award to SHIELDS RADIO COMMUNICATIONS, in concurrence with the City of Kerrville, for a
Transmitter/Receiver Repeater Station in the amount of $9,561.00 to be used by present/duture
Ambulance Contractors.
(An amount of $950.00 to be deducted from bid price of $9,561.00 if antenna may be mounted
on an existing antenna support structure.)
