COUNTY OF KERR X BE IT REMEMBERED that there was begun and holden on the 9th
day of May 1988, at 10:00 o'clock A. M., in the City of Kerrville, Texas, a Regular Term
of Commissioners' Court, with the following officers present:

FRED HOLLAND Commissioner Precinct 1
BILL RAY Commissioner Precinct 2
VICTOR LICH Commissioner Precinct 3
H. A. BALDWIN Commissioner Precinct 4
and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
Bids for paving were received at the office of the County Road Engineer until 9:00
o'clock A. M., May 9th, 1988.
7 Bids were received for paving Indian Creek/Bear Creek
and
5 Bids were received for paving Roundabout, and that portion of Sandy Lane that lies
within the West Creek Heights Subdivision, and Lillian and Vine Streets.
Bids were read aloud by County Judge Danny R. Edwards in regular session of the Commis-
sioners' Court.

On this the 9th day of May 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved that bids fpr Road and_Drainage
improvements on Indian Creek/Bear Creek Connection Road, be referred to the Kerr County
Road Engineer for study and recommendation.

KERR COUNTY ROAD ENGINEER FOR STUDY AND RECOMMENDATION
On this the 9th day of May 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that bids for paving Roundabout and
that portion of Sandy Lane that lies within the West Creek Heights Subdivision, and Lillian
and Vine Streets, be referred to the Kerr County Road Engineer for study and recommendation.

NO. 17882 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 9th day of May 1988, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which
claims and accounts were approved for payment out of General, Jury, Road and Bridge, County
Law Library, Kerr County Public Library, Juvenile State Aid, Traffic Safety, and 216th
District Probation Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin and unanimously
approved by the Court that said bills be paid.

NO. 17883 ORDER AMENDING ORDER N0. 17777 - RE: APPROVAL OF PROPOSED CONTRACT WITH DR. B. L.

On this the 9th day of May 1988, a motion was made by Commissioner Ray to amend Order

', NO. 17885 APPROVAL OF REIMBURSEMENT TO LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY FOR UTILITY ADJUSTMENT'S
FOR LOOP 534 AND AUTHORIZATION OF COUNTY JIyDGS TO SIGN CERTIFICATION ON BEHALF OF
KERR COUNTY
On this the 9th day of May 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by
Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved a reimbursement to LOWER COLORADO RIVER '
'' AUTHORITY in the amount of $67,008.14 for utility adjustments for Loop 534 and authorized
County Judge Edwards to sign the "Tabulation of Utility Adjustments" Certification on behalf
of Kerr County.
It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized
I', to draw a voucher on the Loop 534 Right-of-Way Fund in the amount of $67,008.14, payable to
LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY for said utility adjustments.
(Kerr County to be reimbursed $60,307.33 by the State)

NO. 17886 KERR COUNTY TO ENGAGE THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES OF A STATE APPRAISER TO EVALUATE
A TRACT OF 1.8 ACRES A'P CAMP PEARL WHEAT
On this the 9th day of May 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved that Kerr County engage the professional
services of a State Appraiser to evaluate a tract of 1.8 acres of land at Camp Pearl Wheat.

N0. 17887 UPPER GUADALUPE RIVER AUTHORITY AUTHORIZED TO SUBi+IIT A RESEARCH GRANT PROPOSAL
TO THE TEXAS WATER DEVELOPMENT BOARD
On this the 9th day of May 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Ray, with Commissioners Ray, Lich and Baldwin and County Judge Edwards voting
"AYE" and Commissioner Holland "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a majority
vote, approving that UPPER GUADALUPE RIVER AUTHORITY be authorized to submit a Research Grant
Proposal to the Texas Water Development Board for their consideration.

Kerr County, Texas, of the Regular Meeting on April 11th, 1988, Special Workshop Session on
April 18th, 1988, Special Session on April 21st, 1988 and April 22nd, 1988, Special Session
on April 25th, 1988, and Special Session on May 3rd, 1988, Volume Q, Pages 571 thru 584.
