On this the 24th day of March 1988, a motion was made by Commissioner Holland, to
I authorize Kerr County Road Engineer, Gerald W. Menefee, to appoint Jeffrey Barecky, a
mechanic in the Road and Bridge Department, to do a study on the present vehicle maintenance
program.
Motion failed for lack of a second.

On this the 24th day of March 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved that Commissioner Baldwin be authorized
!'to bring in the vehicle maintenance records of the Sheriff, Constable of Justice Precinct One,
and the Road and Bridge Department to the Commissioners' Court to determine the needs for
maintenance of Kerr County vehicles.

N0. 17810 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REPRESENTATIVE OF PEBSCO TO EXPLAIN A DEFERRED COMPENSATION
PROGRAM TO KERR COUNTY EMPLOYEES
ON this the 24th day of March 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Baldwin, with Commissioners Ray and Baldwin and County Judge Edwards voting "AYE"
and Commissioners Holland and Lich "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a majority
vote, approving a Resolution authorizing a representative of PEBSCO to come in and explain a
Deferred Compensation Program to Kerr County Employees, and also authorizing the Kerr County
Treasurer to make payroll deductions for employees that are interested in participating in the
program.

AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT
On this the 24th day of March 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, with Commissioners Ilolland, Ray and Baldwin and County Judge Edwards

voting "AYE" and Commissioner Lich voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote,

approving that the Kerr County Road Engineer be authorized to advertise for a Modular or Mobile's
Office Building, for use by the Road and Bridge Department.
Bids to be received until 5:00 o'clock P. M., April 20, 1988, at the office of the Road
Engineer, Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville, Texas.
Specifications are on file in the office of the Road Engineer.
Bids will be publicly opened and read at 10:00 o'clock A. M., Thursday, April 21st, 1988
in Special Session of the Commissioners' Court.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
