On this the 21st day of March 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved the promotion of PAULA RECTOR to the
position of Chief Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, to fill the vacancy created by the resigna-
tion of BOBBIE LEEDY, and that her salary as Chief Deputy be fixed at $17,283.00 per annum,
$720.13 semi-monthly, Pay Group 17 Step 3, effective as of April 1st 1988.

On this the 24th day of March 1988, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which claims
and accounts were approved for payment out of General, Jury, Road and Bridge, County Law
Library, Public Library, Revenue Sharing, Flood Control, Juvenile Services State Aid, Indigent
Health Care and 216th District Probation Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Holland, with Commissioners
Holland, Ray and Lich and County Judge Edwards voting "AYE" and Commissioner Baldwin
"ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a majority vote, approving that said bills
be paid.

Texas Police Association in the above amount.

mechanic in the Road and Bridge Department, to do a study on the present vehicle maintenance
program.

Wand the Road and Bridge Department to the Commissioners' Court to determine the needs for

AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT
On this the 24th day of March 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded by
Commissioner Holland, with Commissioners Holland, Ray and Baldwin and County Judge Edwards
voting "AYE" and Commissioner Lich voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote,
approving that the Kerr County Road Engineer be authorized to advertise for a Modular or Mobile
Office Building, for use by the Road and Bridge Department.
Bids to be received until 5:00 o'clock P. M., April 20, 1988, at the office of the Road
Engineer, Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville, Texas.
Specifications are on file in the office of the Road Engineer.
Bids will be publicly opened and read at 10:00 o'clock A. M., Thursday, April 21st, 1988
in Special Session of the Commissioners' Court.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
