B. L. CARLILE TO INITIATE A PROPOSAL FOR EVALUATION & DEMONSTRATION OF APPROPRIATE ON SITE TECHNOLOGY TO DEVELOP A SUPPLEMENT TO SCS SOIL SURVEY REPORT On this the 29th day of February 1988, a motion was made by Commissioner Ray to approve employment of Dr. B. L. Carlile, P. E., CPSS, to initiate a proposal for evaluation and demonstration of appropriate on site technology to develop a supplement to the SCS soil survey report, in an amount not to exceed $8,500.00 for the study, to be paid out of the projected surplus of the UGRA Environmental Health Services. Motion failed for lack of a second. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 17760 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT FOR FOUR 1988 FOUR-DOOR CHEVROLET CAPRICE SEDAIQS PURCHASED FROM HILL COUNTRY MOTORS, INC., FOR USE BY THE KERR COUNTY SHERIFF`S DEPARTMENT On this the 29th day of February 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, with Commissioners Holland, Lich and Baldwin voting "AYE" and Commis- sioner Ray voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote, approving that payment be made to HILL COUNTRY MOTORS, INC., for the purchase of four 1988 four-door Chevrolet Caprice Sedans, for use by the Kerr County Sheriff's Department, in the net amount of $44,771.08 (Bid price $48,771.08 less $4,000.00 allowed for two 1982 Chevrolet 4-door sedans, one 1981 Plymouth 4-door sedan and one 1982 Dodge 4-door sedan). It is ordered by the Court that the County Treasurer and County Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher on the General Fund in the amount of $44,771.08, payable to HILL COUNTRY MOTURS, INC. It is further ordered by the Court that the second paragraph of Order No. 17750 dated February 22nd, 1988, be rescinded.
