COMMISSIONERS' COURT RECONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9th, 1988
at 9:00 o'clock A. M., with all members present, and the following proceedings were had:
NO. 17733 KERR COUNTY TO DISCONTINUE PAYING ANY LEGAL FEES FOR THE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE
OF PRECINCT 4, AS RELATE TO CAUSE NO. SASSCA2027, PENDING IN THE U. S. DISTRICT
COURT
On this the 9th day of February 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, it was unanimously approved by the Court that, effective this date,
Kerr County will discontinue paying any legal fees for the Justice of the Peace John P. Hill,
as relate to Cause No. SA85CA2027, pending in the U. S. District Court, as the Commissioners'
Court is of the opinion that Kerr County is no longer obligated as provided in original
Article 332-C, Vernon's Annotated Texas Statutes; further, the County Attorney is instructed
and authorized to notify the Attorney of record for Judge Hill of this Court's actions and
is further authorized to take such further actions as he deems reasonable and necessary to
carry out this order of the Court.

On this the 9th day of February 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, with Commissioners Holland, Lich and Baldwin voting "AYE" and
Commissioner Ray "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", the Court approved by a majority vote the appoint-
ment of Bill Ray, Commissioner of Precinct No. Two, as a member of the Kerr County Public
Safety Committee, replacing Commissioner Fred Holland as of February 9th, 1988.

ADVISORY BOARD
On this the 9th day of February 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Ray, with Commissioners Holland, Ray, and Lich voting "AYE" and Commissioner
Baldwin "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", the Court approved by a majority vote the appointment of
H. A. Baldwin, Commissioner of Precinct No. Four, as an Ex-Officio member of the Library
Advisory Board, replacing Commissioner Fred Holland as of February 9th, 1988.

N0. 17736 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO THE KERR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' COURT FOR COMPUTER HARDWARE
AND SOFTWARE TO AUTOI+IATE COURTHOUSE AND AUXILIARY OFFICES
On this the 9th day of February 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Baldwin, it was unanimously approved by the Court that County Judge Danny R.
Edwards be authorized to advertise for proposals, to be addressed to the KERB COUNTY COMDIIS-
SIGNERS' COURT, for computer hardware and software, to automate the Kerr County Courthouse
and Auxiliary Offices.
Proposals to be submitted to the County Clerk's Office in the Kerr County Courthouse,
Kerrville, Texas, no later than 5:00 o'clock P. M., Friday, February 26th, 1988.
Proposals to be considered at the regular March 14th, 1988 term of Commissioners' Court at
1:30 o'clock P. M.

On this the 18th day of February 1988, came on to be considered by the Court the various l!
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which
claims and accounts were approved for payment out of General, Jury, Road and Bridge, County
Law Library, Kerr County Public Library, Revenue Sharing Trust, Indigent Health Care and
216th District Probation Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Holland and unanimously
approved that said bills be paid.

N0. 17740 APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF ONE RADAR UNIT FROM DECATUR RADAR - HENRY DeVILLIERS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $1995.00
On this the 18th day of February 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved the purchase of one radar unit from
DECATUR RADAR - HENRY DeVILLIERS in the amount of $1995.00, for use by the Texas Department
of Public Safety.

NO. 17741 COUNTY AUDITOR AUTHORIZED TO REVIEW AVAILABLE USED SAVIN COPIER, AND IF ACCEPTABLE,
PURCHASE SAID COPIER IN THE AMOUNT OF $1500.00
On this the 18th day of February 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Ray, it was unanimously approved by the Court that County Auditor Don
Williamson be authorized to review available used Savin 7025 Copier, and if acceptable,
purchase said copier in the amount of $1500.00, to be used by the Justice of the Peace of
Precinct No. One and the Juvenile Probation Officer.
