Judge Edwards left at this time for the rest of the day and Commissioner Victor Lich served
as Presiding Officer of the Commissioners' Court in the absence of the Judge, and the follow-

NO. 17691 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 21st day of January 1988, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the various Commissioners' Precincts, which claims,
and accounts were approved for payment out of General, Jury, Road and Bridge, County Law i
Library, Public Library, Juvenile State Aid, Traffic Safety, Indigent Health Care and 216th
District Probation Funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners
Holland, Ray and Lich voting "AYE" and Commissioner Baldwin "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said
motion carrying by a majority vote that said bills be paid.

On this the 21st day of January 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, the Court unanimously approved to transfer $200.00 in TRAFFIC
SAFETY PROGRAM from line item 24-585-454 to new line item 24-585-420.

FROM 10-666 AG BARN FACILITIES AND CREATE NEW LINE ITEM
On this the 21st day of January 1988, a motion was made by Commissioner Ray to approve
a budget amendment and transfer $3,000.00 from 10-666 AG BARN FACILITIES and create new line
item to reflect the costs of maintaining the facility. i

N0. 17694 APPROVAL OF SALARY ADJUSTMENTS OF TWO JAILER/DISPATCHERS RETROACTIVE TO SEPTEMBER
1ST, 1987 THRU JANUARY 15th, 1988
On this the 21st day of January 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved salary adjustments of two jailer/dispatchers,'.
JAN MICHAEL SKOWRAN and WANDA SUE ADAMS, who completed their certification courses at the
Bexar County Sheriff's Academy on August 7th, 1987, and that the County Treasurer be authorized,.
to adjust their salaries, retroactive to September 1st, 1987 thru January 15th, 1988, from
pay group 13 Step 1, $562.58 semi-monthly, to pay group 14 Step 1, $591.04 semi-monthly,
to be reflected on the January 31st, 1988 payroll.

NO. 17695 APPROVAL OF COUNTY TREASURER'S QUARTERLY REPORT ENDING DECEMBER 31st, 1987
On this the 21st day of January 1988, in Regular Session of the Commissioners' Court,
came on for examination the Quarterly Report of Dorothy H. Hilburn, County Treasurer of Kerr
County, Texas, for the period beginning October 1st, 1987 and ending December 31st, 1987,
and the same having having been examined and compared by the Court and found correct.
And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received for
account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and during
the period above stated, are found correct as therein shown.
It is therefore ordered by the Court that said report be, and the same is hereby approved

On this the 21st day of January 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Ray, seconded
by Commissioner Holland, it was unanimously approved by the Court that County Attorney,
Gary E. Kersey, be authorized to proceed with title search and possible surveying to determine
ownership of Tivy Mountain.

extending 600 feet to the South, located in Kerr County Commissioners' Precinct Three,
