COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION ON JANUARY 5th, 1988 at 10:00
o'clock A. M., in the County Clerk's Office, with all members present, and the Court having
I~ duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
17 Bids were received for various items for the Kerr County Road and Bridge
lid Department.
!~ Bids were opened at 10:00 o'clock A. M. and read aloud by County Judge Danny R.
Edwards.

NO. 17640 APPROVAL OF REQUEST OF SUPERINTENDENT OF MAINTENANCE TO PAINT CEILINGS IN LEASED
BUILDING LOCATED AT 323 EARL GARRETT
On this the 5th day of January 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Holland, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners Holland, Lich and Baldwin and County Judge Edwards
voting "AYE" and Commissioner Ray "ABSTAINING FROM VOTING", said motion carrying by a
majority vote, approving the request of Frank L. Speakmon, Superintendent of Maintenance,
for authorization to paint the ceilings in the leased building located at 323 Earl Garrett.

COUNTY ROAD ENGINEER AUTHORIZED TO RE-ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
of January 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded
it was unanimously approved by the Court that the two bids received
Ze Road and Bridge Department be rejected, and that Kerr County Road
Engineer, Gerald W. Menefee, be authorized to re-advertise for bids for gas and diesel.
Bids to be received until 5:00 P. M., Monday, February 1st, 1988, in the office of the
Kerr County Road Engineer.
Bids to be opened on Tuesday, February 2nd, 1988 at 10:00 o'clock A. M., at a Special
Session of Commissioners' Court, in the County Courtroom of the Kerr County Courthouse.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

On this the 5th day of January 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Baldwin, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, with Commissioners Holland, Lich and Baldwin and County Judge Edwards
voting "AYE" and Commissioner Ray voting "NAY", said motion carrying by a majority vote,
approving that bids received for concrete, paving aggregate, base aggregate, asphalts and
culvert pipe, for the road and bridge department, be referred to the Kerr County Road Enginee
Gerald W. Menefee, and County Auditor, Don Williamson.
