On this the 11th day of July 1988, upon motion made by
Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court
unanimously approved confirmation of the retirement of
Dorothy L. Pfeiffer, Chief Deputy County Clerk, with extreme
regret, effective as of September 30th, 1988.

Dear Pat:
After completing over 25 years of service with Kerr County,
I have decided to retire, effective as of September 30th,
1988.
I have certainly enjoyed working for you and also for Miss
Emmie, our former County Clerk, and with all Officials and
Personnel in the Courthouse.
Sometimes in our busy schedule, a person takes for granted
or forgets to thank the people responsible for the benefits
that Kerr County offers to the employees, such as the retire-
ment program and insurance. I would like to thank the Kerr
County Commissioners' Court and other Officials for these
benefits.
A. C. and I are both looking forward to my retirement.
