ORDER NO. 17683 RESIGNATION OF FLORENCE WHEELER, DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK On this the 11th day of January 1988, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich seconded by Commissioner Holland , it was unanimously approved by the Court that the resignation of FLORENCE WHEELER, DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK, be ratified and confirmed, effective as of January 15th, 1988, and that she be paid for 40 hours of vacation due her, to be included on the payroll ending January 15th, 1988. January 8, 1988 Dear Pat, This is my letter of resignation that you have asked for. My last day of work will be January 15, 1988. It is rather surprising to me that I am leaving on such a happy note. I have worked hard and have enjoyed my work, putting my heart and soul into it. But for sane time now, all my efforts seared not to have a goal to reach for. Work has become more demanding and the responsibility greater, yet the system will not compensate, nor have a solution to the problems that are there now and will increase each day. Perhaps, because of this, it became suddenly obvious that my family is the source, that I should be putting my efforts toward. So I'll welcane sane time for myself and more more time for my husband, sons and grandchildren. Catch up on tempting navels and biographies and fix up the house, etc. It has been my pleasure to work with all the Departments in Kerr County, especially the Sheriff's Office, County Attorney's Office, both Judges Baskette and Edwards, the different Justice of Peace Offices, City Police, Municipal Court and the Probation Departments, both Juvenile and Adult. The County Court at Law Section will need all your help and efforts. You have a good group and I will miss working with than. Respectfully, ORDER N0. 17683 RESTC~NATION OF FLORENCE ti~IEELER, DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK 1-11-88 VOL. Q, Page 533
