ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF MASTERS CONSTRUCTION CO. FOR THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF ROADWAYS IN WEST CREEK HEIGHTS
SUBDIVISION
On this the 31st day of May 1988, upon motion made
by Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Baldwin,
the Court unanimously approved acceptance of the Bid
of MASTERS CONSTRUCTION CO. in the amount of $20,921.00
for construction of Road and Drainage Improvements for
West Creek Heights Subdivision, as per construction
contract, and as recommended by Kerr County Road Engineer,
Gerald W. Menefee.

BIDDER'S PROPOSAL FOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
To: Commissioners Court
County of Kerr
Gentlemen:
Reference is made to the following-described Work of
construction, alteration of repair:
West Creek Heights Subdivision
(Reconstruction of roadways)
The undersigned Bidder has carefully examined and considered the
site of the Work end relevant conditions and circumstances and the
proposed Contract Documents, including the Form of Agreement, Schedule
of Special Conditions, General Provisions, Drawings and Specifications
prepared by Kerr County.
Special Instructions to Bidders, and the following numbered and dated
addenda:
The work will be completed by August 1, 1988 following execution
of the Agreement by Kerr County.
It is understood that Performance end Payment Bonds, each in the
amount of 100Y. of the Contract Price, will be required if the Contract
Price exceeds $25,OD0: that Kerr County may accept this bid as late as
thirty (30) days following the date of opening of bids: that Kerr
aunty may reject any or all bids end that Kerr County may waive
objection to any informality in submission of bids.
This Proposal is accompanied by a bank cashier's check or a Bid
Band (on the form prescribed by Kerr County) made payable to Kerr
County in amount equal to five percent of the maximum Contract Price
above bid, which sum will be received and retained by Kerr County as
liquidated damages in the event that the undersigned Bidder should
fail, if awarded the Contract within ten (10) days thereafter to
execute and return the Agreement, together with Performance and
Payment Bonds as indicated.
The undersigned reserves the right to withdraw or amend this
Proposal at any time before the time for closing receipt of bids.
Based on the foregoing, the undersigned Bidder hereby offers and
proposes to perform the Work, in full accord with the Contract
Documents, for a Contract Price computed es shown in the following

(1) Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
(2) The award of the contract will be made on the total bid.
(3) The Contract price may ba increased or decreased or the contract
time reduced or extended to compensate for changes in the Work as
ordered by the County Engineer and provided for by the conditions of the
contract.
