ORDER NO. 18023 REQUEST OF CECIL MERRITT, ALONG WITH THREE OTHER MEMBERS OF HIS FAMILY, FOR VARIANCE FROM KERR COUNTY SUBDIVISION "RULES AND REGULATIONS", CONCERNING A 36.86 ACRE TRACT On this the 2nd day of August 1988, came on to be considered by the Court, the request of CECIL MERRITT, ALONG WITH THREE OTHER MEMBERS OF HIS FAMILY, as to whether or not a 36.86 acre tract in the Roland Nichols Survey No. 126, located in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. 4, would be considered a subdivision, under the Kerr County Subdivision "Rules and Regulations". Motion made by Commissioner Baldwin seconded by Commis- sinner Lich and unanimously approved and determined by the Court that said tract of 36.86 acres in the Roland Nichols Survey No. 126 is not subject to the requirements of the Kerr County Subdivision "Rules and Regulations", as to platting. Cecil and the three other members have agreed t^ partition oFF the north 12 acres ^f this tract as his portion of the estate. Attached is e sketch showing the parent tract and the lor_atinn uF the 12 acre tract. As shown, the 12 acre tract is accessed from the north by Furr Road. The other three members of the estate settlement plan to leave the remainder of the parent tract as is. Cecil Merritt plans to leave his 12 acre tract as is or to build his residence on it. We request a variance to the subdivision ordinance and that we be placed on the August 2nd agenda.
